Do Not Contact (DNC) feature

The "Do Not Contact" (DNC) feature in Mautic is a crucial tool for managing contact preferences and ensuring compliance with communication regulations.

It is particularly useful for maintaining the integrity of marketing campaigns and respecting the wishes of contacts who opt out of communications.

Manually

Steps

  1. Log in to your Mautic account.
  2. Navigate to the Contacts page.
  3. Open the contact's profile you wish to mark as DNC.
  4. On the dropdown, select Preferences.
  5. Remove the 'Email' option from Channels.
  6. Confirm and save the changes.

Batch

  1. Log in to your Mautic account.
  2. Navigate to the Contacts page.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of your list.
  4. On the number dropdown, set the option to 100 to display the quantity of contacts.
  5. Scroll back to the top of the list
  6. Click to select all
  7. Open the actions dropdown
  8. Click on Set Do Not Contact.

Results

  • The contact should now be marked as 'Do Not Contact' within Mautic.
  • To verify the process, check the contact's profile for the DNC status.
