Navigating the campaign builder interface

The campaign builder provides a visual canvas to construct automated workflows. It allows marketers to map out a series of steps and decisions to guide contacts through a customer journey.

The campaign builder has two main areas:

  1. Contact source: Defines where contacts will be pulled from for the campaign, such as segments or forms.
  2. Blocks area: This is where you build the campaign flow using decisions, actions, and conditions.

Adding blocks to the Campaign

To add a block to the campaign:

  1. Hover over the contact source block. This will reveal circles around it with a "+" button.
  2. Click the "+" button to open the decisions, actions, and conditions panel.
  3. Select the desired block type (decision, action, or condition). The panel will close.
  4. In the dropdown that appears, choose the specific option desired (e.g., send email).
  5. Configure the details of that block in the window that opens and click "Add" to insert the block into the flow.

Success

Save your changes frequently using the button in the upper right corner.

Editing blocks

When hovering over an already added block, options appear to:

  • Duplicate the block
  • Edit the settings
  • Remove the block from the campaign

Info

Use the clone function to quickly duplicate similar components and then modify them as needed. This is much faster than adding and configuring new instances each time. Rename cloned items right away to keep the canvas organized.

Results

Now you have the ability to build out logical workflows using decisions, actions and conditions.
